Our Managing Director, Elizabeth Hettmann started her career with SBC Managed Services on the Arthur Andersen & Accenture accounts as a MAC programmer for the Nortel SL100. Quickly realizing she had a desire to understand all aspects of the industry, and became a IBEW Local 701 Union apprentice technician, working her way up through the trenches gaining a wealth of knowledge and expertise which has proven invaluable to customers throughout the design and project management processes. After years running work as a Foreman Technician, she took advantage of the opportunity to learn the next phase in construction and become a Project Manager, for one of the Top Electrical Contractors in the City of Chicago. Elizabeth excelled not only as a PM but also as  Division Manager building the Low Voltage Division to a $15M Annual Revenue source and working on some of the largest and most notable projects in the city. Her passion comes from working directly with the ownership teams and collaborating on the front end to assure that the construction coordination encompasses the low voltage systems eliminating the future unforeseen costs to the owner due to their inability to coordination of all trades during the construction process. Elizabeth’s ability and experience allows for a seamless coordination and install process throughout the project, which insures that schedules are adhered to  and costs are reduced. Essentially, Elizabeth’s vision for ISDS  to be an ambassador for the owner to coordinate with the GC while managing and installing the low voltage systems, up to and including handling all low voltage contracts, managing the installation, and commissioning, IT Systems Vendor Management as well as overseeing the design process and drawings production.
